-Must be able to speak with workers, other department managers and senior management.
-Must be able to motivate employees and workers to keep operations running smoothly.
-Must be able to quickly ascertain a situation and be decisive in solving it, such as identifying defects in the production line.
-Handle production deadlines, shipping dates and more and must manage their time accordingly.
-Supervise and participate actively in the equipment, materials and personnel selection for the plan/project.
-Supervise Quality process and inspectors, batch plant, and concrete.
-Responsible for acceptance of raw materials and final products.
-Review project plans, requirements and specifications.
-Review and manager the production of shop drawings, from inception to approval by the Engineers of Record.
-Understand project logistics and project schedule.
-Review quotes and estimates with the management team.
-Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
-Watch over and organize the daily operations of manufacturing plants.
-Oversee employees, production and efficiency, to make sure the plant is running smoothly, quickly, efficiently and safely.
-Plant managers maintain optimum operation by assigning workers, creating and keeping work and production schedules.
-Hiring and training new employees.
-Collecting and looking through data to find places of waste or places of improvement.
-Keep an eye on worker safety and plant safety, monitor the production equipment to make sure that it stays in good working order, and repair or replace the equipment when needed.
